Solar Energy has Bright Future

In the state of California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger dedicated over three billion dollars in funding to create more green friendly - solar power initiatives. In the province of Alberta, solar power is also shining through with projects such as Drake Landing in Okotoks Alberta. Brent Harris of Sustainable Energy Technologies believes that even though only 15 to 20 % of energy that reaches solar panels is retained, with adequate development of technology, this hump can be overcome.
