The buzz about Alberta’s oil sands increased significantly recently with a visit from mega-moguls Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to the oil sands. Phil Verleger, Professor of Strategy and Global Affairs at the Haskayne School of Business, clarifies what the visit by two of the richest men on earth really means to the future development of the oil sands. Alex Devisscher of the Schulich School of Engineering also weighs in with his opinion on the historic tour.
